Ako has been set up as a social enterprise, with any profits being invested back into the school, to offer scholarships and eventually acquire our own site. We do not receive any government funding, nor do we have private investors.

We have had to set up Ako as a private school and it costs us around $12,000 annually per child to run the school - clearly a sum that is out of reach of the average Kiwi family.

Your generous donation (big or small) will contribute to our scholarship fund and is a powerful way to directly increase the accessibility of our school to families that would not otherwise be able to afford the fees. You might also consider becoming a monthly donor.
